This is a fast and exciting version of croquet. Played with four coloured balls, each ball is used in sequence in the colour order of blue, red, black and then yellow. Blue and black always play as a pair, as do red and yellow.
The game may be singles in which case each player plays one pair of balls or doubles when each player has their own ball.
It is played on a standard croquet court, 25.6m x 32m with six hoops and a central peg.
There are 6 hoops numbered 1 to 6. Hoops are played in a specific order. A game takes anywhere between half an hour to say an hour.
All players are on the lawn throughout the game. The object of the game is to be the first player to "run" 7 hoops in a 13 hoop game or the first to run 10 hoops in a 19 point game. As soon as 7 hoops, (or 10) have been scored by one side the game ends.
There are different variations of the game involving play through different numbers of hoops.
