| The largest amount of visitors came to Somerset West Croquet Club for their first taste of Croquet. It was decided to play 7 point games to enable everyone to play several games. A mini-tournament was organized by David Hill organizer of the Youth in their Church. This was won by Robert Shand. All four courts were used and a lunch braai was enjoyed by all. |

Somerset West Prize-giving - 18th April 2009
Almost at the end of the season SWCC combined their club prize-giving with an Open Day
and lunch braai.
We had a 6 visitors who also joined in with a wine auction to raise funds for
the club.
The club now has special labels printed on individually bottled wine - this was very popular.
